The story follows a young woman in the eighties and can be said to be largely historically accurate, as several events mentioned in the story actually took place in 1983. References include Grace Jones concerts, protests outside the weather service due to bad weather, and more. The characters are fictional, however, as is most of the plot.
2018 • Listfengi
A crime novel about perfectly ordinary people living conventional everyday lives, which cease to be ordinary when they become involved in crimes, caught in a web of lies they cannot see through. A woman disappears in Kópavogur, and a man's body is found in a house fire in Grafarvogur. Detectives Soffía and Hrafnkell lead the investigation.
2021 • Listfengi
A standalone sequel to Everyday Murder. The themes are greed, lies, murder and violence, not forgetting envy. A woman's body is found on the grounds of a preschool in Kópavogur. The body turns out to be that of a drug addict who is detective Soffía's biological mother, forcing her to confront shadows from her past.
